Many drummers will agree that Noble & Cooley drums are “The Best of the Best” when it comes to American-made drums. This Horizon kit is a beautiful example of how drums should be made. The “Cairo Blue” hi-gloss lacquer finish has to be seen to be believed; it’s a blue sparkle with dimensional, or “flip-flop, ” sparkles added to make it one of the coolest finishes I’ve ever seen. All of the photos were taken in natural light. And the sound – the inner ply of mahogany gives the tone just a bit of mellowing and and extra low-end. The sizes are traditional – 22×14, 8×12, 9×13, 16×16 – and the snare is a 4.75×14. This kit is fitted with chrome-plated brass hoops; these are the original hoops that I specified for the kit. The drums are in excellent condition; they were kept inside the house all of the time, in hard cases, and taken out only a few times for playing – no gigs with this kit. I don’t see any dents or scratches – but if you take a magnifying glass to it, I’m sure some very light marks will show up somewhere. Included in this listing: the 5 drums listed above.
