Ultra-rare, 6-piece Yamaha Beech Custom shell pack in stunning lime green translucent lacquer. Bass Drum situation addressed. Despite being made in the 90’s, the toms on this kit are close to mint condition and the bass has only a minor nick on the resonant side bearing edge (see pics). YOU WILL GET A PAIR OF BLACK OR NATURAL HOOPS FREE OF CHARGE. The hoop can be repaired by drilling and doweling and gluing if you have a mind to do so. I have resolved the situation with a Recording Custom walnut hoop as a temporary replacement the kit would look great with a set of maple hoops. Other than that, the kit has spent its life in the studio or in cases. The only other cosmetic flaws on the kit are a couple of tiny lacquer chips on the bass drum and the 16 tom that you have to look hard to even find. YOU WILL GET BOTH THE CRACKED HOOP THE MAPLE WALNUT ON THE PICS AND TWO BRAD NEW HOOPS MAPLE OR BLACK (new and wood no inlay made by Pdp Or Gibraltar, we have choices). Beech wood sounds very similar to birch but has more roundness, punch and depth. These kits are sought after and rare to find, especially in this shape, color and with a complete set of 5 toms. Included is: 8X8, 10X9, 12X10, 14X12, 16X14 inch toms with YESS mounts. A 22X18 inch bass drum with double tom arm mounting plate, a double tom holder for the bass drum, and three additional Yamaha tom arms to mount the toms. The stands are not included.
