If you are unfamiliar with this extremely rare model, please do some research. This line was manufactured for one year only and is greatly sought after. These are original and NOT refinished shells. Script badge has never been removed… The kit looks much like you would expect a 50 year old drum set to look. The wood exterior shows normal sporadic blemishes but no excessive gouging. The interior of the shells are quite nice with just a slight cracking on two of the reinforcement rings… This was quite common with these drums, and quite honestly it’s very minimal on this particular kit. It’s virtually impossible to go over every exterior anomaly, therefore I included pictures from every angle so you can get a very good feeling for the condition of these gems. Here is the individual drum information: Bass drum… Drum does not have exterior head, hoop, or t rods. 14 x 5 in… This drum is all original except for the replacement strands that I put on it. Obviously the heads have been replaced as well. This drum has an amazing combination of low-end wetness and definable crack. I love this drum. This drum is all original and resonates beautifully. This drum does not have the Swivomatic mount. I simply use a snare drum stand to mount this right over the kick drum. The top Rim has been replaced with a very close matching vintage rim. This drum has a replacement bottom rim which match is almost identical. One of the rubber feet are missing from the leg. It is always very tricky to sell vintage drum gear sight unseen, therefore I try to always explain everything to my greatest ability.
