NOTE: I have decided to list this set without a snare drum for those who may already have a matching snare and need just bass and toms. I do have a 5.5×14 RK snare drum available, as well as a 13 three ply RK snare. Here is an early 1950’s (1952-54) Slingerland Radio King drum set finished in original White Marine Pearl. The sizes of this beautiful set are 12×22, 7×11, 16×16. I used this set at some gigs last year and was knocked out by the sound. Especially the 12×22 and the 7×11. The 11 tom really sings and has tons of resonance and sustain. The bass drum just KICKS! Very punchy, especially with the modern heads that are on it. The floor tom sounds perfect. Very fat and warm sounding. Everything on this drum set is extremely clean and ready to play, right out of the box. This is such a wonderful Radio King set and I hate to let it go but I cant keep’em all! NOTE: These drums are in very unusual sizes, with the 7×11 and 12×22 being extremely rare and the price reflects the rarity. Most likely, that is much lower than what it will cost but I will cover any difference in cost. I’m in the Pittsburgh, PA area. More photos available on request.
