Vintage 1970’s Pearl Fiberglass Silver Silk Drum Set. 22″ 16″ 13″ 12″. The finish is called “Silver Silk” and still looks good, but it has yellowed in some areas as this color tends to do. This is a top of the line Pearl set from back in the day with heavy duty hardware and a 10 Lug Bass drum. These 100% Fiberglass Shells do not warp and sound just as nice as the day they were made. Drummers like Steve Gadd, Peter Criss and Chester Thompson of Genesis used a set like these in the 70’s. Iconic drummer Hal Blaine was a pioneer in using Fiberglass drums.
