Up for sale is a Slingerland White Tiger Pearl Shell pack, 8×12, 9×13, 14×15, 16×16, 14×22 virgin BD. RIMS mounts and gibralter mounts are included as seen. The odd with this set is the 15″ drum, it looks like it was converted to a floor tom since they didn’t make this size in the 15″ floor tom, but somebody did an awesome job with it and it carries the tone you would expect from a shell pack. I personally think it was an un-drilled tenor drum at some point, but can’t confirm. All toms have re-rings top and bottom. Wrap is tight all over, with a couple areas where it may be coming loose at overlap edges evident in picture of the one tom, all others appear tight. BD hoops are in’ok’ condition. Bass drum spurs are solid and stable. Overall, this kit is in fantastic shape for its age. The bearing edges shown in pics are indicative of all drums, the edges do appear to be gently sanded to remove varnish as they don’t look like my other Slingerland I have. None of the edges are mis-shapen as far as I can tell, there are couple minor scrapes on drum interiors here and there nothing major, the scrapes shown in the pics are what I think are the worst of it; all of which are none of my doing. Black Galaxy bags for each drum are included in this sale. This kit is meant to be played and needs to be played, total eye catcher for many and definitely generates conversation and looks fabulous under stage lights! I have had this set a couple years now and it has been babied since. Minimal normal pitting on lugs and rim, some minor chrome flaking on rims from normal aging, seen in photos. No major scratches or dings on shells, no drums have ever been dropped. Evans EC2 on toms, with black remo ambassador for reso heads, this thing sounds great. I do have video of this kit all mic’ed up and will post soon. I love bringing these things back to life and I think I did a pretty good job doing so to preserve the beauties.
