Item: Sweet Slingerland drum set in the Modern Solo Outfit configuration. 14×20 bass drum, 8×12, 9×13 toms, 16×16 floor tom and 5×14 Festival model steel shell snare. Features: Original Natural “Maple Wood” finish which has aged beautifully with less than expected wear for a kit of this vintage. There are no major deep gouges or rash, although there are some small dings and scratches. There is some natural discoloration in the finish which only adds to it’s charm in our opinion. All the traditional Slingerland trimmings are here! Double Set-O-Matic tom holder, telescopic bass drum spurs, original chrome bass drum hoop inlays, stick saver hoops, internal tone control mufflers, original bass drum tension rods, Silver and Black Niles badges and on and on…. This kit was well cared for. There is some tape of the floor tom legs and the washer is missing on the rapid throw off on the snare drum. Bearing edges on the kit are original, untouched and still in nice shape. This kit tunes up like a dream and is SOOOO Much FUN to play. It just oozes with vintage Mojo. Sound: Nice punchy bass drum with beautifully resonate toms. The festival snare is perhaps the most underrated vintage drum out there, excellent crack with great sensitivity.
