Vintage CB-700 Shell pack 12″/ 13″ / 14″, 16″/ 18″ and 22″ Bass. The drums from CB-700, made in Taiwan. The shells were good but the wrap really had to upgrade them with a brand new finish! The original wrap (Red Maroon) was taken off, then use the Router to Re-cut the Bearing Edges. They are more a Deep Tom Shells! 18″ Floor tom and 22″ Bass did not paint Sealer, so I went to paint them myself with a Roller Brush… The CB-700 had a very Unique lugs, called “WristWatch” lugs, they are very strong and thick. They are also very rare these days as most CB-700 sets use Pearl type lugs. I did apply Brand new Cotton ball between the Springs in the Lugs so there will not have any BOING BOING sound in the lugs! Diameter on each drum. The heads have brand new EVANS G2 Clear on the Batter side heads, letting them Sing very Open and the Resonant heads are no-brand, black color heads but it makes them look very cool for Live shows. Bass has a brand new Pillow inside, if the set is needed for Recording Sessions, the pillow will be a friend! Hardware lugs, chrome hoops, and Tension Rods were polished well done to have the shine is back. The Rack Toms have an upgraded Rack Mount that’s screwed into the shells, and no longer using the original Tom Mounting. Tom Brackets are a “circle shape” with a Big WINGNUT so its very easy to Use these toms in live shows as its very easy to move the drumset to the Stage and when the show is done, its easy to detach the Rack Toms in a few seconds for each toms. And let a second band to take the wheel. (Celluloid type of Wraps, are flammable). I have been a drummer for 20 years and most drummer do, we like to fix their own gear and have backup parts if needed. UPS Ground will cover to any 48 US states, as UPS will insure.
