It is in excellent condition with only a few microscopic scratches on the mounted tom. These drums sing with lots of projection. The bearing edges are graduated with softer edges on the bigger drums, and there are no reinforcement rings. The shells are six ply African bubinga and North American maple. Lots of power here, and a beautiful look! Chad is in serious demand and works tons of sessions in Nashville for all the greats. The Celestial kit features Sakaes new Chamber Specific Technology (CST). Keeping this consistent tone and level of resonance from the hardwood allows Sakae to adjust the low-end, sustain and projection for the each of the various drum sizes.
