If you are looking at this drum set and you have knowledge of Rogers history you know you’re looking at the cream of the crop. These are from the Cleveland era, early to mid 60’s, the best period. As you can see by the paper tags the serial numbers of the bass drum, rack tom and 14 inch tom are very close, a family. Bass Drum has an extra tom mount professionally installed. Reason: I’m left handed. This is the only modification. The rest is all original. These drums are in excellent condition, very clean and sound awesome. The 16 floor tom is a later addition with an even earlier serial number(its a 3 ply shell). This drum is in excellent condition but has a little more wear than the others and a small slight separation on the batter side reinforcement ring (see pic 11) and slight ding on batter side bearing edge (see pic 12). I’VE HAD THIS DRUM FOR YEARS AND THE CONDITION AND SOUND HAVE NOT CHANGED IN ANY WAY, SOUNDS GREAT!! There are no issues whatsoever with the blue onyx wrap. The wrap has no fade it’s very vibrant. The hoops are the original “tall boy”. The sound of these drums is awesome. They are very powerfull and with great definition. I hate to let them go but the time has come.. 20×14 Bass drum with original spurs. (Hoops and inlays are in excellent condition). 12″x8″ Rack tom with the original Swiv o’ matic tom holder. 14″x14″ Floor tom with original legs. 16″x16″ Floor tom with original legs. They come with hardly used Ambassador x coated batter heads and Ambassador Clear Resonant. Bass Drum has coated Powerstroke 3 and Ambassador coated logo head.
