Premier Sapphire Projectors 6-Piece Drumset. This is a nice used 6-piece set of Premier Sapphire Projectors that recently came into our shop on trade. Featuring birch shells with beech reinforcement rings and a deep Sapphire blue lacquered finish, the sizes included are 9×8″, 9×10″, and 10×12″ mounted toms, 12×14″ and 14×16″ floor toms, and a 16×22″ bass drum (all sizes are depth x diameter). Batter heads on the toms are nearly-new coated Evans G2s. Resonant heads on the toms are an assortment of Remo, Premier, and Yamaha clear single-ply heads. The bass drum has a used Aquarian Superkick II on the batter and an ebony Evans eq3 with Premier logo on the audience side. Also included are Premier double-tom mount, Premier single-tom clamp, and six floor tom legs. Suspension mounts on the mounted toms are a combination of PureCussion RIMS and Gibraltar TSS. Floor tom leg brackets on the 14 drum have been replaced by non-Premier aftermarket brackets. As a used drumset, expect to find age-appropriate signs of cosmetic wear and tear like scuffs, scratches, dust, fingerprints, and some sticky residue on the ends of the bass drum T-handle tension rods (see pics for examples). But aesthetic blemishes aside, the shells are in-round and structurally sound, the chrome is in good condition with minimal pitting, all badges are snug and secure, and these drums sound fantastic!
