Premier APK 11 Piece Drum Set – Vintage. APK = All Power Kit (extra deep toms) Set is from the early 90’s (Made in England) and is in it’s original Red wrap, I have built this kit up over the past almost 30 years. There is extremely little amounts of pitting if any (the 10 tom has the largest spot on the top head hoop, about the size of a quarter or a little less), one of the bass drums does have very slight wrinkling of the wrap, other than that this entire set has been meticulously taken care of, always kept in a controlled temperature environment. (2) 22×18 Bass Drums one with H&B case in fair condition, a little rough around edges. One with Beto carry bag, a few small holes in the bag but still good for transportation. (1) 8×9 Concert Tom, this is the only tom that was made without a bottom head. NO case for this tom. Small “bruise on the shell”. (1) 14×5-1/2 Chrome snare with H&B case in excellent condition. Yamaha custom oak snare is also pictured, NOT included. (1) 10×9 Tom with H&B case in excellent shape. (1) 12×11 Tom with H&B case in excellent condition. (1) 13×12 Tom with H&B case in excellent condition. (1) 14×13 Tom with H&B case, older case in very good condition. (2) 16×16 Floor Tom – one with H&B case in excellent condition and one with unknown name brand carry bag in good shape. (1) 18×16 Floor Tom with H&B case in excellent shape. (2) Premier bass drum mount tom holders, one with swivel L ball mount, one with straight L mount. ALL buckles and handles on the above mentioned cases are in near great shape. All drums have fairly decent Evans Hydraulic heads on them. One of the bass drum batter heads will need to be replaced, resonant (outside) heads will have the Cross, Yosemite Sam bass drum heads NOT included (they have my name on them). I wanted to point out that the 10″, 14″ and (1) of the (2) 16″ floor toms have the wing nuts on the sides of the drum mounting lug, all other drums have the wing nuts on the front of the mounting lugs, a couple of new pictures have been added to show this, also added a picture of the minor “pitting” on the hoop of the 10″ tom, all of these shells have the traditional black interior as found in the APK series, I can only guess that the difference in the wing nuts was a slight design change in the 90’s. You can tell that these are TRUE APK’s by the 1-Piece drum head tension lugs. This kit is about 30 years old and in my opinion in near great shape, some ticky tacky things like memory clamps for L rods, a small blemish here and there and things like that, this kit sounds amazing on stage and looks GREAT under the lights, very “thunderous” sound (Extra deep Toms). Happy to answer any and all questions. Premier Hi Hat stand in “ok” shape and Premier snare in good shape IS included.
