Up for grabs is a rare Pearl Masters Mahogany MHX 4 pc kit w/maple reinforcement rings. These drums were first made in the 1990s for a limited run and then again just a few years ago. In my opinion, THESE particular run of drums are the ones to own. Better wood and build quality. To get these now, you would have to custom order a Masterworks kit, which means of course, Masterworks pricing. This kit sounds excellent with a full round deep sound, as mahogany is known for it’s low end vintage sound. This is African Mahogany, and not the cheaper Philippine wood, this is the good stuff. Drums are in great shape, with just a few small nicks on the top of the bass drum. Sizes are 8×10 tom w/optimount, 9×12 tom w/optimount, 16×16 floor tom w/legs and 16×22 kick drum.
