What you are looking at is a Mid 1970’s Ludwig VISTALITE drum kit. The catalog description is “Big Beat Outfit” this is an original matching 4 piece drum kit in a clear Vistalite finish. The description of these drums are as follows: 14″x 22″, 20 Classic lugs, pointy Blue/Olive badge serial #1052344, used Clear Remo Pinstripe batter head and a new clear resonate head with a Ludwig Logo and. Matching wood White Pearl inlay bass drum hoops. Floor Tom 16″x16″, pointy Blue/Olive badge serial #1040226 Triple flanged chrome hoops, used Remo Pinstripe batter head, new single ply resonate head. Interior muffler and 3 original tom legs. Rack tom 9″x13″ pointy blue olive badge serial #1048609, triple flange chrome hoops, used Remo Pinstripe batter head and a new single ply resonate head and internal muffler. The rack tom 8″x12″ pointy blue olive badge serial #1048603, 6 lug, triple flange chrome hoops. A new Remo pinstripe batter head, a new single ply resonate head and internal muffler. The shells are in perfect round the original bearing edges are in good condition please See photos. All the chrome hardware have nicks, pitting, rust through out. Some of the chrome parts the plating has worn off on the tom mount and the floor tom legs. The shells are in good condition. The shells do have some scratches, nicks, gouges on the shells, see photos. There are no cracks on any of the shells or seams. The drums overall are in good condition and in ready to play condition.
