Up for sale is a phenomenal Ludwig 5×14 Snare Drum built around an exceptional mid-1980’s Monroe, NC Keystone Badge Super-Sensitive Aluminum snare shell (Serial #3287510). The chrome plating is almost perfect. Upgraded with new hoops, tube lugs, and a new P88 strainer and butt plate. Any previous holes from the Supersensitive system have been left open – see photos. REMO Coated Emperor on batter side, Weatherking Ambassador on reso. This snare delivers all the crisp, classic bite, rimshots, and wide dynamic range of a standard LM400 Supraphonic snare drum, with significantly upgraded modern hardware.
