Ludwig Classic early 70s Psychedelic Red drum set with blue/olive badges. Finish is very clear with vibrant colors. This is an awesome players kit. The seams on each drum had a degree of lifting which I reglued. The drums had been stored with the bottom heads removed so each drum has some nicks and cuts in the finish and minor bearing edge scuffs which are covered with the heads and hoops reinstalled. The details of each drum are. 8X12 Tom-serial #859293 slight bubble in finish near seam, some interior stains, minor scuff on exterior, bottom lugs have short inserts, heads fit well. 9X13 Tom-serial #859622 seam reglued, heads fit well. 20X14 bass Drum- no badge or vent hole, extra tom holder installed by previous owner where vent hole was, several splits/cracks in the finish are hard to see, both seams reglued , one hoop inlay non original but matches very well, 8 tension rods not original but all claws are there along with spurs and tom holder, long line of glue on exterior, reinforcement ring reglued and stapled by previous owner. One head fits tight but does fit and tunes up fine. This is not a mint/museum quality kit. All chrome has some pitting and scuffs, interior clear maple with several stains/scuffs and heads need replacement but overall the drums look and sound great from 5′ away.
