Ludwig Downbeat Drum Set. 1964 Black Diamond Pearl. The wrap has EXTREMELY LIGHT to NO fade/darkening. ALL PIECES ARE IN COLLECTOR CONDITION. The hardware has been polished with Simichrome polish. The wrap has been polished with NOVUS 1 + 2 and it is extremely smooth with a few very light scratches remaining. BEARING EDGES ARE CLEAN AND THE SHELLS ARE IN THE ROUND. THE WRAPS FOLLOW THE SEAMS INTO THE SCARF JOINTS. Downbeat Snare 4×14 #91080. Light wear to hardware (hoops = COS). Shell is near flawless. This is the only drum with chrome hardware; the rest of the kit’s nickel. Original heads in great condition. Orig wires with a few stretched strands but still very good. 8×12 RACK TOM #40218. Hardware very clean with some light spotting. COB hoops in excellent condition. Essentially new heads – Earthtone = batter; Aquarina Modern Vintage = batter. 14X14 FLOOR TOM #103366. Slight lift to part of the seam. Reso head = orig Ludwig in good condition; batter modern VG. 14X20 BASS DRUM #103333. Hardware in great but not perfect condition. Tom mount shows most wear of the kit. Cymbal mount I believe is stripped (most players do not use this mount so a minor issue). Batter is a vintage Ludwig head in great condition that has a period design on it as shown; vintage Remo batter in VG condition. LISTED ON LOCAL MPLS CL.
