For sale is a great sounding Gretsch players kit. This is a Round Badge in the unique MoonGlow Satin Flame finish. This kit just craves to be played! Jasper gum shells that made Gretsch famous! The finish overall on all drums; the. Seams are tight, however typical scratching, swirls and spiderweb cracks that are typical on these finishes is present. 8″x 12″ Tom Tom. Traditional Gretsch lugs, Gretsch Round Badge, Gretsch die cast hoops and L Tab Diamond mounting plate. Both mufflers are missing. Wrap is tight and in fair condition as described above with one section where the finish has rash about the size of a nickel (see picture 5). Chrome is in good shape with less than expected pitting and flake. Has new modern Evans heads which are snug but fit easily. The batter side bearing edges are nice and untouched. The reso side has an interior chip which doesn’t look to impact bearing edge too much (picture 10). 16″x 16″ Floor Tom. Traditional Gretsch lugs, Gretsch round badge, Gretsch die cast hoops, Gretsch diamond leg mounts. 3 straight chrome floor tom legs that are NOT original Gretsch. Wrap is tight and in good condition. Batter side bearing edge are nice and look untouched. Reso side bearing edge has a section that has some chatter on it (See pic 11). Chrome has less than expected wear. 14″x 20″ Bass Drum. Traditional Gretsch lugs, Gretsch round badge, spurs are not original to kit, Gretsch wood bass drum hoops with half of the original matching inlay on reso side (no inlay on batter side). The finish is in good shape. The bass drum was originally drilled for a double tom mount, however original Gretsch mount had been replaced with a Ludwig. There are two small extra holes in the top of the bass drum one close to the mount, the other farther to the right (See picture). The Ludwig plate needs 3 carriage bolts which are easily found at hardware store. Bearing edges are original and untouched with no issues. Chrome has expected wear.
