1960’s GRETSCH PROGRESSIVE JAZZ Drum Set. Includes 20″ Kick Drum, 14″ Floor Tom, and 12 Tom. This kit is in beautiful condition, the metal rims are in great condition, with mild signs of early corrosion in some spots. The seams are tight. There appear to be no extra holes. There are some signs of mild rash on the 12 tom, and a very mild fading on the top of the kick. However, the champagne sparkle is truly beautiful. The labels have very close serial numbers, though the 12 tom has no model number on the label. This kit was from the Estate of the Late Dave Ameele, who was a jazz drummer in the LA area. This was his trophy kit, I was told. He put Aquarian Heads on the Toms… And they are still there. One large box with the Kick and 12 Tom inside and one with the Floor Tom. BOX 1: 46 lbs.
