Heres 3 vintage Ludwig drums from different mothers that have come together as a Ludwig Super Class players kit that is being offfered for sale in the Drum Hub. Drum sizes are 9 x 13, 1 6 x 16 and 14 x 22. Each shell is 3 ply with re-rings and clear maple interiors and Keystone badges. Badge on the 13 has a serial number 676759; badge on the 16 has a serial number 707622 and badge on the 22 has a serial number 639161. Blue sparkle wrap is tight and vibrant with minimal fade but there is considerable snare rash on the 13 (see photo). The 13 was actually a rightly, but we removed the muffler, spun the badge around and left the muffler holes unplugged. Chrome hardware is all bright and shinny with some minimal pitting on the lugs and some corrosion on the T rods. Claws are not Ludwig. Bass drum has two pair of disappearing spurs and the classic rail console. Hoops do not have all their original inlay but it is in tact all around. Floor tom has the black round felt muffler with chrome adjustment knob and 17 legs. Some repair work was done on the interior of the 16 (see photo) but it looks factory. There was some cosmetic work done on the 13 to remove some of the rash but there is a distinct dark blue hole that goes through the first layer of wrap but not through the interior wood layer (see photo).
