This is a 3-piece set-up of Rogers drums that date to 63-64 era. The sizes are 14×18 (factory bass drum not a converted floor tom or anything funny like that), 8×12 and 14×14. The wrap was in poor condition on all three drums. The shells themselves were all still in very good condition. So I committed them to new wrap installed by Precision Drum Company in New York. The result is a nice bop set that sounds really good. All had beavertail lugs from day one. The low serial number is in the floor tom at 36xxx and the bass and mounted tom have serial numbers of 42xxx. The interiors could use some restoration. There is black paint on the inner surface of the reinforcing rings of the bass drum why would anyone do that? And there is some streaking of the paint inside the floor tom. The mounted tom has new Remo Ambassador coated heads, the floor tom has original Rogers heads and the bass drum has a Remo pinstripe batter and smooth logo head on the resonant side with a Rogers script decal. The chrome is all very good for the age and better than many would be at 50 + years, though some pitting and corrosion is evident here and there. The floor tom legs are new JP-2 chrome 21 legs. The legs that came to me with the floor tom were for a 16×16 floor tom, so I replaced them with the new proper length legs that are quite nice. Therefore, ask any questions or for any photos you may need ahead of time. Sale will be final. In my area that can vary quite a bit. The drums may be partially disassembled and require some reassembly so that the boxing is as efficient as possible.
