Drum sizes are 24″ bass, 12″, 14″, 16″, and 18″ toms, and 14″ snare. The 14″, 16″ and 18″ toms have all been equipped with new Nickel Geiger Floor Mount Hoops, which enables you to use any of these three drums as a rock kit (16″ or 18″), or a jazz kit (14″). I used all original new chrome DW Tom Mounts on these floor toms, along with new DW Chrome Floor Tom Legs. Thus, altogether, there are 9 new DW Chrome Tom Mounts on these Geiger Floor Hoops, and 9 DW Floor Legs. This is an outstanding “Bonham” set with the larger sizes. I have used it in various configurations. The 18 really sings. This custom, hand-painted and lacquered drum set is finished in the highly sought after “Superman’s Hair” finish. This lacquer paint has a black base, with Blue Flakes added. The Blue Flakes cannot be seen unless you look closely at the drum, or the light hits it. These drums have become almost impossible to find. You will see from the photos that I have installed the DrumLite LED lights on each of these drums; I will leave them or remove them according to the new owner’s preference. Please note that the DrumLite power system is not included… Just the interior LED lights. Overall, the set is in great condition with minimal to moderate wear on the shells and hardware. The drums will have a moderate amount of scuffs, but none have noteworthy scratches or dings. There is one, 3 scuff of the bass drum, but not a scratch. The set has spent most of its life in an air conditioned storage unit. The set was played in several live settings, but it was always protected. All Shells are the highly respected early Keller Maple, and are unmarked (no interior Notes, Dates, or Signatures) which was the norm in the late 1980s and 1990s of DW manufacturing. All Black DW Badges, with the exception of the Snare, which is Gold. This is a (Pre) Collectors Set, and the precursor to the Collectors models now offered by DW. Some DW enthusiasts believe these are some of the finest, and most custom drums that DW has ever offered. The early Maple Shells made Keller an international favorite. All drums are in the same Serial # family (with exception of Snare). It took me over 5 years to find the matching snare drum, and it has the Gold DW Badge. Bass Drum: Virgin 24″ (Diameter) x 18″ (Length); 1.5 Maple Hoops; All original; 20 Chrome Turret Lugs; Original Chrome Claws & T-Rods. The Batter Head is a Clear Aquarian with minimal wear. Toms: All toms have their original DW Bottom Heads from the 1990s. The top heads are the newer Clear DW heads with play wear. The 18 batter head is white. 12″ x 9″; Mounted Tom with DW Tom Mount; Serial # 304651. 14″ x 12″, Geiger Floor Tom Mounting System, Serial #304662. 16″ x 14″, Geiger Floor Tom Mounting System, Serial #304663. 18″ x 16″, Geiger Floor Tom Mounting System, Serial #304654. Snare Drum: 14″ x 5″; 10 Chrome Turret Logs, White Batter DW Clock Drumhead Exc. Plies: You can count in photo above 14-20 ply? But it is approximately 1/2 thick. Original DW Strainer/Butt, Wires (unmarked). I paid a small fortune for this rare snare, and was fortunate to find it. Hardware: Geiger Floor Hoops System (x 3); 9 DW Floor Tom Legs, 9 DW Tom Mounts (on Floor Toms); 1 DW Tom Mount (12 tom). Please, serious inquiries and offers only.
