I have no proof or documentation to that effect, but considering the owner’s apparent legitimacy, the fact that Elvin was a longtime Yamaha endorser and this was their new 30th Anniversary model in what appears to be Elvin’s finish, the high end cymbals and configuration, and the Bay Area background/connection, I believe it’s entirely possible – that’s the reason I saved all the original heads.
