Early solid-brass hourglass on all drums except for the snare that has special tube-through lugs, solid-brass throw off, triple-flanged hoops, double-45 bearing edges. Every shell signed & dated by the builder. Black satin (woodgrain visible in the right light) has aged beautifully as well as beautiful and natural patina on snare lugs; edges true; hardware functions smoothly. Well loved and well taken care of.
