This is a 1967 Ludwig Super Classic drum set in black oyster pearl. This kit is collector’s grade and looks absolutely fantastic. Perfect for a Ringo fan, this one has a repro-Beatles front head and factory-esque Ludwig heads all the way around the toms. These drums are all original except for the tom mount, which is the slightly newer, much more functional/desirable version. The original one may be sourced if it’s important. Hoops have been re-painted, but they are completely original, including the inlay. Interiors are super clean and show clear date stamps on the toms. Both toms include white mufflers that work great. In fact, hardware all the way around feels like using a brand new Ludwig – no rust on the washers, everything holds tight, etc. I got this kit in a trade and as much as I’d love to keep it, I know someone else will appreciate it more. The person I got it from got it back in the 80s, gigged it once and put it back in cases until now. I’ve tried to picture the couple slight imperfections in the finish.
