Custom Boom Theory Drum Set (Spacemuffins X-Series). Acoustic shells made of Birch, Mahogany and Poplar with triggers built in making it both fully acoustic and an electronic drum set. Imagine the warmth and depth of mahogany with a bright and punchy attack from the birch and poplar. These drums are deep, punchy and articulate! Shells are stained in a Satin Squid Ink finish (black) with custom wood hoops finished in a Satin Tea Green. All hardware is coated in a Black Teflon finish. 20×18 kick drum (bridge decked – enhances the attack and articulation of the drum without losing the warmth and overall tone). These drums sound amazing. I’ve only owned Boom Theory drums, both acoustic and electric / electronic for almost 20 years. These have never left my house and all in all have been played for about a year and a half. Most of their life has been in padded bags in the closet or corner of my house. Nothing wrong with the shells at all! A couple hardware bits show slight signs of wear and hoops have some stick marks. The usual for a used drum set, nothing crazy.
