This Slingerland 12×8 black diamond pearl rack Tom is from the 1960’s. The stamp is hard to read inside, but I believe is from 1963. The rims and lugs are in nice shape and are shiny. The wrap is in great shape. Remo Weatherking Coated Emperor head on top, Remo clear Ambassador batter on bottom. The Tom sounds awesome! There is some rust on the tension rods and washers. There are two small gaps on the leading edge of the drums where the ply ends. Looks like it’s part of the manufacturing process, as it the same on the top and bottom. See pics.
