Tama Silverstar Birch Snare drum 14×5 used but in great shape. No scratches on the wood or rust stains-pitting on the hardware. Has a new Evans 300 snare side head and a used non pitted coated Remo Powerstroke with a white dot for overtone control. I also put 13×20 Fat Cat snare wires on it, using the shorter wires to control unwanted buzz from the bottom head and I think they work well and sound good. I also put in an internal muffler (see pic 3) for old school tone control. This snare would work well for most genres and has a full and powerful pop. A great step up for a student/hobbyist or an inexpensive option for the occasional weekend player. Would also work as a practice or back up snare for a working pro on a budget.
