If you’ve come this far you know that rosewood exterior Sonor drums are scarce and should only increase in value. While all that is happening the lucky owner can enjoy one of the world’s best jazz sets. 14×22, 16×16, 9×13, 5.75×14. Rosewood over 6 plies of beech. Great sounding D505 snare is a treasure in its own right. Chrome is generally excellent but the bass drum hoops and the tom legs show some corrosion/signs of use and the pics should reveal that. 7 new heads: coated Evans G2’s over clear G1’s on the toms. Coated G1 on the snare w/new Evans snare side. Sonor brand Remo front head on bass drum. The exterior of the 3 wood drums shows some light wear and a few small dings. They have been babied by a serious pro drummer for many years and show less than normal wear, in my opinion. Clear and resonant tone should please the most discriminating owner. Snare stand is display only. The snare drum has the 100th Anniversary, 1975 tag. The other three wood drums have tags that just say “Sonor – Made in Germany” and they seem to be from the slightly earlier “Champion” line. Any questions just ask.
