Spurs are half circle Ludwig that slide into drum when not in use. Original hoops with matching inlay in perrfect condition. Has mounted Ludwig dual arm rack tom holder built in. With two dampers, one on top, one on reso head. Both work via round dial on exterior of drums. 6 lugs per side. New heads, Remo Coated Emperor on batter, Remo clear Ambassador on Reso head. Ludwig mount for mounting on mount arm. 14″ and 16″ floor toms. This was not a standard configuration back in the day, but is very effective. 8 lugs per side. Three leg mounts per drum, all Ludwig, with Ludwig logo on them. 3 Lega per drum. New heads, same as Rack Tom. This set is mint. The wrap is tight and without fault, scratches of evidence of use. The white mother of pearl finish has very little yellow tint to it. (see new photos) but is possibly a re-wrap. Also possible that this kit is a circa 1969 kit in that the interiors are all clear coat, and not white, and the spurs are either replacements or original 1969. A Ludwig drum collector wrote me, and in fairness and in the interests of full disclosure, I want to incorporate this into my listing. Hello my fellow Ludwig drummer! I’m also a seasoned drummer and have had lots of Ludwig kits since the early 60’s. Currently have 3 Ludwig early to mid 60’s kits. Just contacting you as a “heads up”. This is not an original wrap. 1 in 1963 they were using serial numbers on the Keystones. Looks like a replacement Keystone. 2 this is not the pattern they used for White Marine Pearl/Sky Blue Pearl, etc, in the 60’s. That is a later wrap material. 3 If you remove a head you will probably see that the wrap is NOT tucked into the shell. They used to wrap the shell, and THEN bend it into itself and glue it. Later processes (1970’s to present day) the wrap was applied after shell bending so it is all on top of the shell, and not imbedded. Kit looks good, but you really should look at the shell without a head, and if you see what I’ve described, update the listing. The chrome is faultless. No pitting no rust. Regardless of the year of manufacture 1963 or 1969, these drums are in outstanding condition, are definitely Ludwig USA, Ludwig’s finest, sound terrific, and are in outstanding condition.
