Sonor “Tear Drop” three-piece drum kit, dating to the early 1960s. This K 173 St. Louis” outfit includes a 20×14 bass drum with mounted 13×8 tom, and matching 14×2.5 “pancake snare drum. Original “Schwarz” wrap, which is similar to Ludwig’s “Anniversary Sparkle” but with bigger flakes of gold. Three-ply construction on the toms, no reinforcement rings on the snare due to the small height. Bass drum has a cigarette burn in the wrap and a notched portion of wood missing from the batter hoop where the pedal attaches. Factory batter head which which has a couple tears, but I decided to include it because it was original. Bass drum also has internal lights rigged into it through the bottom vent hole – most of them still work. One unoriginal bass drum spur and some seam lift on the bottom. Both toms have the original hoops and slotted tension rods. Beertap strainer mechanism on the snare in good working order.
