Great sounding Yamaha D22 Brown Willow 3-piece (sizes 9×13, 16×16, 14×22) from late 1960s. I’m close to NYC, and fairly easy to meet in tri-state area if you want to pick these up in-person. Wrap is tight all around each drum with no cracks, but there is plenty of wear/scratches/extra holes/etc. As you’d expect from a set of drums that have been around for over 50 years. Modern Evans heads fit easily. All badges still attached. I’ve tried to detail as much as I can in following text. There are some issues including the following. Multiple extra holes on BD from the original missing console mount, plus an unfortunate attempt to put what appeared to be a generic Mapex mount, now replaced with a newer Yamaha mount. BD legs have similar issues – someone tried to drill out for other spurs. I’ve replaced with modern Yamaha vintage style equivalent, but larger holes still exist. BD 1 original hoop in decent shape with inlay still intact, 1 newer replacement – no inlay. Only about 1/2 of the T-rods are original. BD resonant side appears to have spent some time single-headed, as the bearing edge is a bit beat up. Nothing too crazy damage-wise and drum appears to be in-round and heads fit great and tune up very well. RT and FT both missing internal mufflers. I will include a non-original muffler that was on FT when I received the drumset. RT has extra holes from generic Mapex mount. It has been replaced with newer Yamaha mount. Original diamond plate mount missing. FT has non-original replacement leg mounts which most likely means extra or enlarged mounting holes. FT legs are original with small gibraltar replacement feet. FT has some kind of damage to internal ply – perhaps from an impact? Impact is not visible from outside wrap. Drum appears to be in round, tunes up great and heads fit perfectly. Please see pictures for more details on this damage. Lugs all appear to be original, tension rods are not necessarily original. NO BD POST MOUNT INCLUDED FOR RACK TOM. Let’s repeat that: NO BD POST MOUNT INCLUDED FOR RACK TOM – only what is shown in the pictures for this ad or otherwise stated. Professionally owned and rehabbed for my personal studio use. These sound amazing mic’ed up. Relatively thin birch ply shells. Please see pictures and ask questions!
