Too many deadbeats writing checks they cant cash lately. Up for sale today is another epic kit from my custom collection, an 8 piece Pearl Masterworks. I worked with Pearl for a long time to create this kit, and the results speak for themselves. Condition wise, they are an immaculate 10/10, having never left my studio from when I unboxed them in mid-2017; you couldnt ask for a more thoughtfully constructed kit. I developed the concept of the finish from a previous Masterworks kit that I owned in the Comet Sparkle Fade finish, and while that was the initial inspiration, I added the outer ply of Carbon Fiber, with a burst of Haloflake on top of a gradual black to natural Carbon Fiber gradation. The depth of the finish is truly 3D. All drums have Nickel Hardware and Die Cast Hoops. Details of the drums are as follows. (2) 18 x 20 kicks- regular 10 ply shells, 4 inside plies Mahogany, 2 inner plies Maple, 4 outside plies Mahogany, fully rounded bearing edges. 7 x 8 Tom- regular 6 ply shell, 2 inside plies Birch, 2 middle plies Maple, 2 outside plies Mahogany, rounded 45 degree bearing edges. 8 x 10 Tom- regular 6 ply shell, 2 inside plies Birch, 2 middle plies Maple, 2 outside plies Birch, rounded 45 degree bearing edges. 9 x 12 Tom- regular 8 ply shell, 2 inside plies Mahogany, 4 middle plies Maple, 2 outside plies Mahogany, rounded 45 degree bearing edges. 11 x 13 Floor Tom- regular 10 ply shell, 4 inside plies Mahogany, 2 middle plies Maple, 4 outside plies Mahogany, fully rounded bearing edges. 13 x 15 Floor Tom- regular 10 ply shell, 4 inside plies Mahogany, 2 middle plies Maple, 4 outside plies Mahogany, fully rounded bearing edges. 16 x 18 Floor Tom- regular 10 ply shell, 4 inside plies Mahogany, 2 middle plies Maple, 4 outside plies Mahogany, fully rounded bearing edges.
