Message us here or, to speak to a live drummer, google us and call our store. We’re happy to help! Up for sale is an early’80s Yamaha Tour Custom 8000 Series 4pc drum set in a wine red wrap finish. Handcrafted in Japan with birch/mahogany shells. These drums are very clean and in good working order. The shells are in very good shape, except for some leftover tape glue on the bottom of the batter-side bass drum bearing edge (see photo). The wrap has some small scratches and scuffs but it is still bonded tightly to the shells and bass drum hoops with no discoloration. The bass drum hoops have spots where paint had flaked off and the bottom on the batter-side hoop has a slight warp (see photo), but this does not affect tuning or playing and it is not visible when mounted on the drum. The chrome is super shiny also with some light scuffs but very little pitting. 20″ x 14″ Bass Drum – serial # LZ0719. 12″ x 8″ Rack Tom – serial # KZ1486. 13″ x 19″ Rack Tom – serial # MH-0762. 16″ x 16″ Floor Tom – serial # MH-0561.
