14×20 bass drum, 15×14 (14 diameter) floor tom, 9×12 tom, 5×14 snare. They feature Gretsch rocket lugs and cast hoops with Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl wrap that is in excellent condition. 6-ply Gretsch shells with Aquarian modern vintage drum heads fit well except the 12 where they are pretty snug. Here are some details about each. All original with Ludwig Club Date floor tom brackets. Earlier Gretsch shell with silver interior. I assume it was re-dated when this kit was assembled in 1969. W&A triple flanged hoops and functioning strainer. Hardware shows some signs of oxidation on chrome. Sticker badge instead of Aluminum badge like on the other drums. Roger’s tom mount installed at some point that was removed in favor of the original rail mount. The holes were expertly filled and matched with period-correct, matching Ludwig Black Oyster wrap segments. The pattern was aligned through the old holes so that it blends very well with the surrounding wrap on the drum. From more than a couple of feet away, it is near-impossible to spot. Gretsch mufflers, W&A cymbal tilters and W&A hoop anchor are included although only one of the tilters has the cymbal arm to attach. Hoops have been re-painted and original inlay is complete and tight. These are in great condition and have preserved well through the years. There are signs of their age however, so it should not be expected these will look as perfect as a new set of drums.
