Vintage 1960’s Premier Drum Kit Set. Chrome is excellent on all drums. Premier plating is far superior to all other drums. 3 ply Birch shells & Beech rings are like new. Bearing edges like new. Nothing was worked on. 14″ x 22″ Bass drum. Logo Ever Play Extra on front. There is a small crack in the wrap and the seam is lifting on one end. Bottom of the drum. Remo Black Dot on batter side. 16″ x 16″ Floor tom. 9 rods are hex type. 7 are correct slotted. Badge is bent in a few places. Vintage Ludwig Ensemble on top. Will need a better bottom head. 14″ x 14″ Floor tom. Muffler control is correct but a round felt top was added at some point. Original Ever play head on the bottom. Remo Ambassador on top. 8″ x 12″ Actual Width 11 & 7/8 Pre International Size. Original Ever play on the bottom has a small crack. Remo Ambassador on the top. 12 heads work on this drum fine. They do not go into the rim collar all the way but tune up just fine. Never could understand the confusion on this. If you are not happy with that you can still get the correct heads anywhere. The only drum that is not a standard size in the kit. 5.5″ x 14″ Royal Ace Snare Drum. Still has the original Premier Double 10 snare wires. Muffler is not original. Flo beam throw off is flawless. New Attack heads top and bottom. This is one of the best snares on the planet. (my opinion only) A incredible instrument that has it all. Also comes with 2 14″ Zyn Hihat cymbals/ 1 20″ Beverly Sizzle Ride cymbal & 1 12 Krut cymbal all Made In England. Hardware includes- 289 Two legged Hihat stand/ 300 Snare stand/ 304 Straight cymbal stand/ 470 Bass drum shell mount cymbal stand/ 469 Bass drum shell mount cowbell post. A Premier Vintage slotted drum key & 1960’s Ludwig Speed King pedal. The 22″ & 14″ floor tom have faded more towards a blue and the 16″/12″/14 snare faded more towards a green. Why Premier does not get the loving many other vintage drums get is a mystery to me. I would put this set up against any vintage set as far as sound goes. A excellent kit all the way around.
