Ludwig/WFL Vintage Pre-serial number 1950’s- early 60’s drum set. Black Diamond Pearl is very nice on all drums. Seams are all tight. Chrome is really nice on everything. Modern heads fit loose on all drums. 14″X 22″ Bass drum- Flaws are – The original rail was moved so there are a couple extra holes. A cymbal mount holder was added and has a extra hole close by. The white interior paint was sanded off at some point. The black on the hoops was repainted and a 2.5 of inlay is missing on one. 16″x 16″ Floor tom is in fantastic shape. 100% original except heads. Old script leg holders. Original legs and red baseball bat muffler are excellent. 9″x 13″ Ride tom also a beauty. Red baseball muffler is excellent. WFL 5″X 14″ Buddy Rich Super Classic. Red date stamp is 1958. 3 ply Mahogany with Maple glue rings. New Attack heads top and bottom. The flaws are- One extra hole from having a P-85 strainer on it. I put a WFL strainer back on so you can not see the hole but it’s there if you wanted to change it back to a P-83/85. The muffler has the original knob but the arm on the inside which holds the felt is 70’s. The wrap is just a bit darker then the other 3 but not by much. The whole set looks great and sounds incredible. (my opinion only) It has some flaws but still a excellent set. Snare stand does not come with it. The item “Ludwig Vintage Drumset.
