A 3 piece set of genuine Rogers XP-8 drums that have been neatly refinished in gloss natural maple. The “Big R” stick on foil badges couldn’t be saved and are missing. The sizes are 22″ x 14″ kick drum with brand new maple hoops (finished to match the shells), 13″ x 9″ mounted tom, and 16″ x 16″ floor tom with legs (the rubber feet for the floor tom legs are missing and need to be replaced). The shells and bearing edges are in very good condition. There are some rust stains and discoloration on the interior of the drum shells. The original hardware is in solid serviceable shape. There is some pitting, oxidation and chrome loss on the lugs and fittings- the worst of it on the bass drum lugs, t-rods and claw hooks. I put the roughest ones on the bottom of the drum. The set presents very well, especially for its age. 8 ply North American Rock Maple shells. Brand new maple bass drum hoops (big upgrade over the original stock flimsy ones) finished to match the shells. Pearl stainless steel hoop protector installed where the pedal attaches. New Attack Drum heads. New chrome die cast air vents installed on all shells. Original Memriloc bass drum legs, tom holder and floor tom legs (missing rubber feet) with integrated memory locks. Sets up the same every time- A Rogers innovation. All hardware cleaned, lubed- 100% operational- nothing stripped, broken or missing. No extra holes or modifications. The drums sound terrific with excellent projection- a great rock set-up. The drums are also listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the listing early.
