After 35 or so years these drums are not often found in this clean a condition. Traditional sizes: 8×12, 9×13, 16×16, 14×22. All original, no mods. Chrome is about as good as it gets – the 4 bottom bass drum lugs, tees and claws show some wear, everything else very clean. There are a few signs of use. Shows the most wear. Scratches in a couple of spots. One 2 scratch near the tom mount did not show up in pics. Bottom of BD is as clean as the rest of it. 6 ply birch shells. Among the strongest drums ever made. Big and resonant sound. 3 recent Remo Smooth White Emperors on toms. Brand new Tama logo Evans heads on kick. Smooth white resonant and EQ4 batter. There’s some coin there, me hearty’s, fo schizzle. This is a lightly used 1987 Yamaha Recording Custom drum set. Quartz Grey lacquer finish. Sizes- 22×14 bass drum, 13×9 rack tom, 16×16 floor tom. Complete with center mount tom holder and original legs for the floor tom. Clean condition with little wear. The finish has lightly faded (evenly on all the drums) on the shells. Some marks on the bass drum hoop at the pedal mount point (see photo) Clean chrome. Some very minuscule corrosion on the knurling of the floor tom legs. (see photo) Heads fit fine with no issues.
