Ludwig Thermogloss Probeat Drum Set. 70s era, 3 ply shells. 14×24, 9×13, 10×1 4 , 16×16, 16×18. Bought from orig owner. Has some road rash, and the chrome needs cleaned. I had to replace some rods. Has Remo Ebony Heads on the top and front heads. I believe it to be all original parts, all working. One floor tom leg is slightly bent. 1970s Ludwig USA Drum Set. This is a beautifully aged players drum set. Free of any structural issues. These drums sound and look great with that true weathered road worn look. 3 Ply Maple Shells. The 16 and 22 are original walnut thermogloss. The 13 was refinished and is a great match to this kit. The grommet is not original. 13 was drilled for 2 mufflers (one on top and bottom) both 13 and 16 missing mufflers. All the hardware on the bass drum is original. Heads fit on easily. These are used drums. There are scratches and scuffs on all of the drums. These are all surface level. There is some extra glue on some of the bearing edges. The chrome shows some speckled pitting and minor rust, along with scratches and scuffs. Some non original hoops on the rack toms. I have many additional photos of the kit. Rash on all the toms and the top of the bass drum. There are some ultra fine lacquer cracks in the finish on the drums. Very common for this finish.
