Alesis Strike Pro Special Edition. For sale is an Alesis Strike Pro SE, bought brand new in 2022. It has seen very little use over the years, with only a few play sessions. The pads, cymbals, and the 20 kick drum are all in pristine condition. This kit offers an exceptional playing experience, particularly due to the full-sized 20 kick, which provides drummers with unparalleled responsiveness and impact that no other electronic kit can match. I have upgraded the ride cymbal to a Lemon 20 model, which not only enhances the aesthetics but also features an impressive three-zone playing area. Included with the kit are a DW 3000 kick pedal, a DW 3000 Series Single-Braced Snare Stand, and a Sound Percussion Labs Velocity Series Hi-Hat Stand. Additionally, I’m offering a Behringer EUROLIVE B110D Active 300 Watt 2-Way 10 PA Speaker System. In the early 80’s Tama created a fancier Royal Star version using the “Tamco” lugs, and a big “T” badge proclaiming “Made in Japan”. Additionally, the outer cherry stain was used on the inside of the drums instead of Zola coat. The drum’ s interior screws and washers have a gold-ish plating, not standardized galvanized style.. Depending on what you can dig up about the wood construction of these drums -some opinions claim 5 ply Mahogany and 2 of Shina wood. The attached black and white photo is from an early (’82) NAMM show in Modern Drummer Magazine (my guess). This blurb says 8 ply Mahogany and 1 outer birch and clearly this version with the Tamco lugs. All the “Big T” badges on this set begin with “82”. Tama Camco production stopped in Japan in’83. This style of Royal Stars were never in a catalog I’ve been able to locate. Regular Royal star drums yes, but not the Tamcos. So, our set has an Omni-sphere tom mount, a 14″ x 22″, 8″ x 12″, 9″ x 13″, and 2, yes 2 16′ x 16”s. I picked up the 2nd 16 later on. Lack dots on 4 out of 5 drums. Aquarian Super Kick 1 and vintage on the bass. Some drums have some minor dings- see the photos. If you know what they are and. Truly want this quality vintage of drum set, the price is the price. Oh, yeah, they sound killer…

This is definitely one of the coolest looking Alessis strike pro drum kits on the market. It was a special order through an endorsement deal. As you can see the finish is a very unique finish. There are tons of extras that will be included. Please note that the snare drum stand, throne, hi hat, and bass drum pedals are not included. However, all of the drums and the cymbal arms are. As you can see, it is in immaculate condition. Everything works perfectly as it should. As far as flaws, I do want to point out that the screen has a small spider crack on it where I dropped a drum key once. It does not impact anything functional, and I believe can be replaced with a new plexiglass face which I will also include.
