From rockstargear4u, this Taye Studio Maple Drum Shell Pack in good condition! Awesome pre-owned expanded shell pack in sizes 22×16/20×16/16×16/14×11/12×9/10×8.5/10×8.5. Everything is fully functional and tunes up well. The majority of the shells are Taye Studio Maple and deliver a warm, punchy tone with great versatility across a range of setups. Light dings and scratches here and there from normal use. The 22 bass drum is an unbranded shell fitted with a Taye tom mount and integrates well with the kit; it also shows a small seam separation on the inner ply (see close-up), which does not affect tuning or playability. It is missing spurs (shell is drilled for standard replacements). The 20 drum is currently configured as a floor tom, offering additional setup flexibility. Looks great and sounds fantastic. Finally decided to let go of the Rogers Koa wrapped drums that I have restored myself. All fullerton era drums, sizes are 12, 14, 16, 24. Cymbals, hardware, and snare for dispplay purposes only. The 12 and 14 have had their bearing edges re-cut professionally by Dubs drum basement in Dublin, Ca. Inde drum company tom mounts on the 12 and 14 which requires no extra drilling. The bass drum spurs are Inde drum company as well which do not require any extra drilling. Aquarian deep vintage 2 heads on the 16 and 16, SK11 on the bass drum. The 14 has a Remo power dot head.

Ddrum Dominion Series Ash snare. I’m not one for slapping gels all over drums to dampen sound and this never needed any of it. Interior is finished and sealed with clear high gloss lacquer which really brought out the color and grain patterns.

Slingerland 8 x 12 Rack Tom (depth x diameter) Sparkling Gold Pearl Wrap, Early 1970’s Niles Era. THE LISTING IS FOR THE DRUM SHELL AND HARDWARE INSTALLED ONLY. NO HOOPS, TENSION RODS OR DRUM HEADS. The Gold Sparkling Pearl Wrap on the shell has a nice appearance with only slight fading from the original gold color. (see pictures 13, 14 and 15 showing the drum shell w/ no hardware installed). The original wrap is tight along the edges and the main vertical seam. A drumhead rests flat and spins smoothly on both top/batter and bottom/resonant sides. BLACK and SILVER BADGE #837xx. (circa early 1970’s) The shell is 3 ply mahogany, poplar, maple w/ maple re-rings. The interior looks very nice and clean for a 50+ years drum shell. There is NO extra holes in drilled in the shell. The Bearing Edges and Re-Rings on both ends are nice and solid. (see pictures 8 thru 12). THE HARDWARE INSTALLED ON THE DRUM SHELL INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING. 1 – 160-6 Set-O-Matic Tom Mount Plate w/ SS2 Key Screw. Very Good Condition with only minor use. The chrome plating finish is very nice and shiny. The Mount Plate slides smoothly on the receiving arm post with no issues. 1 – 1081 internal muffler. Works smoothly and is in good operating condition. 12 – 565 Small Sound King lugs. Each one has been taken apart, cleaned and lubricated w/ clean felts installed. All twelve lugs are in nice clean shape. The chrome plating looks great giving off a nice shine. (see pictures) All threads inside the swivel nuts are in good condition. The mounting screws are in very nice clean condition with good threads. Please examine all the pictures for your consideration and to determine the condition for yourself.
