Vintage late 1970s Gretsch 4 piece drum set with Tom-Tom stands and RIMs mounts, Ebony Black, Excellent Condition, stop sign badge, Rare! A rare find indeed! This is a late 1970’s Gretsch 4-piece drum set in excellent condition. Sizes are 12″, 13″, 14″ toms, and a 22″ bass drum. Ebony black lacquer finish, Jasper maple shells. The chrome is awesome! All paper tags are there. Stop sign badges (except one, see pics). Includes 1 double tom stand (for the 12 & 13) and 1 single tom stand (for 14) with cymbal stand! Toms have RIMS drum mounts that really bring out that great Gretsch sound! The only modifications I’ve done are changing the mounting of the toms to RIMS, and I replaced the spurs (the original spurs didn’t hold the kick securely enough). Check photos for more detail. Pearl 14 Maple Virgin Tom Chrome Wrap RIMS Mount MLX Drum Drums Drumset. This is for a 1982 Pearl 14 x 12 MLX Maple tom in a real chrome metal wrap. The drum is heavy. The rims are Pearl Super Hoops. The drum is a virgin shell with no mount hole. Instead, there is a RIMS mount to support and hold the drum. Remo pinstripe head on top, Pearl Ambassador clear on bottom. There are some dings, scuffs and scratches on the chrome and some minor corrosion on the RIMs mount. See the last few pics. The stripes seen on the chrome in the pics are from overhead lighting. Rare PURECUSSION RIMS drum set. For sale is a PureCussion 4 piece RIMS Drum Set complete with a bag which holds it all! Super unique drum set! Extremely portable and light weight! Has 12″, 14″, and 16″ toms with a 20″ bass drum. Takes special Remo pre-tuned heads. This has small one inch tall drum shells, and can be picked up and moved all in one piece! This shows some signs of use with minor scratches, rust, and pitting. Heads are stock and have some marks, but plenty of play left! Bag is a little dirty. Has some minor fraying. No rips or holes. Zippers are on track and work smoothly! Missing 6 or 7 tuning pegs. Still have enough to set up a 2 or 3 piece kit. Please look at pics and ask questions. Kit is mostly for parts. This is an amazing set of drums. They are 100% made in the USA and come just as you see them. Included in the set are a 22″x16″ kick, 16″x14″, 14″x12″, 11″x12,10″x10″, 8″x8 rack toms. They all have good heads and the 6 ply maple shells sound amazing. All of the hardware is cast and the hoops are stamped, the bass drum has wooden hoops.
