Some hardware pieces are missing, most notably the legs from the floor tom, the bottom hoop of the rack tom and a couple of lugs from the kick. The snare stand is missing a set screw. The interior of the kick and toms is painted black, but the snare has a date stamp Oct 5 1960. There’s a good bit of wear and tear, and Pearl legs were added to the kick drum. This is a very nice 1983 Tama Imperialstar drum set. Zola coating on the interiors. Sizes are: (depth x diameter) 8×12 tom, 9×13 tom, 16×16 floor tom and 14×22 bass drum. The set looks great and sounds great. There are a couple noticeable scuffs and some superficial marks that would buff out if you wanted to do that. There is a slight bit of ripple in the bass drum covering 10 o’clock if you are looking at the drum set from the front. You can’t see it in the pictures, but I thought I’d mention it. The drums look incredible on stage. The chrome is shiny and everything is functional. The heads are good with only a couple of gigs on them. This is wonderful part of Tama history in my opinion. This is one of the original versions of the Tama Starclassic Performer drum set with birch and mahogany shells. Birch inner and outer ply with mahogany in the middle. The auxiliary mount for the suspended floor tom is included. Sizes are: (depth x diameter) 10×10 tom, 11×12 tom, 13×14 suspended floor tom and 16×22 bass drum. The set looks great and sounds great. There are two noticeable nicks but they could be touched up. (see pics) Other than that, the cosmetics are strong. This set features heavy die cast rims and Tama’s patented “Star Cast” tom mounting suspension system. Heads are great, bearing edges are original and in excellent condition! A beautiful drum set! Gretsch 1951 White Marine Pearl Drum SetNo Reserve! Offered here is an absolutely stunning Gretsch time capsule WMP 3-piece drum set: 20×14 bass drum, 13×9 mounted tom, and 16×16 floor tom. The set was originally a One-Nighter Plus (snare, bass drum, mounted tom). The floor tom was not original to the set: I added it when I acquired the kit 20 years ago. The WMP finish has yellowed slightly to a light creamy hue, But is otherwise in pristine condition with no scratches or splits. The chrome, needless to say, is superb. The bass and mounted tom have the clear-finish 3-ply shells date August and June 1951, respectively. The floor tom I added has a 6-ply shell. The bass and mounted tom have their original calfskin heads, and the photos show they are pretty much in new condition.
