The finish is Rasberry Sparkle. You might call it Purple Sparkle or Ultraviolet Sparkle. It is in nearly perfect/mint condition except for one ding on the bass drum which is shown close up. This is a gorgeous lacquer finish, not a wrap. Die cast hoops with Optimounts except timbale which has a Pearl ISS mount and triple flanged rim. Sizes and ply configurations (depth by diameter). 20×22 Bass drum 6 plies of. With outer plies of Maple, rounded edge. 8×10, Rack Tom (4 plies of Maple with 2 inner plies of Birch, 45 degree rounded edge). 9×12 Rack Tom (6 Ply maple, 45 degree rounded edge). 4×12 Timbale (6 Ply maple, 45 degree rounded edge). 16×14 Floor Tom (4 plies of Maple with 2 inner plies of Mah0g, rounded edge). 16×16 Floor tom (4 plies of Maple with 2 inner plies of Mah0g, rounded edge). 6.5X14 Snare Drum (Six inner plies of birch provide cut and attack while the outer 14 plies of maple). 5X14 Snare Drum (Six inner plies of birch provide cut and attack while the outer 14 plies of maple). The woods and bearing angles are all absolutely standard reference. NOTE: One of the two 9X12 toms came to me as a 12X12. I spoke with the owner and he was going to use that drum as a left hand mounted floor tom. Result: a second 9X12 and a timbale. Bearing edge work is perfect. Because of the broad tuning range of the Reference drums, there is absolutely no issue having two identical sizes next to each other. I can’t afford to keep 2 but I love the Reference drums. LAST NOTE the Reference snares are awesome and I may sell them separately for the right price if the full kit does not sell in a few cycles. Pinstripes on top, Clear Resonant heads on bottom. Just the shell pack. I do have the Pearl OEM Reference floor tom legs and they will be included. Also, I travel to Boston, Southern NH, and Rhode Island fairly regularly if you want to arrange a meeting. I will share invoices with you. I did not build my reputation by screwing people on drum deals. I have been thinning a herd of over 35 high end sets and I’ll sell the ones I can get a fair price for, and keep the rest.
