Nice 1978 Ludwig Vistalite in Clear. The dots you see on the shells are sprinkles. They do have minor scratches and scuffs, but no cracks. Chrome is micropitted which is normal for this age. All have white mylar gaskets and seams are tight. Newer heads and here’s the rundown. 22″ x 14″ bass drum with small curved spurs. 16″ x 16″ floor tom with legs SN 1711464. 13″ x 9″ rack tom SN 1711454. 12″ x 8″ rack tom looks like repo badge, no serial number. There is some residue on the inside of the shells where LED ribbon lights were attached. You can’t really see it when heads are on, but I wanted you to know it was there. I’ll carefully nest and pack in one box insured. Check my other items and my feedback is very important to me.

1971 Ludwig Vitalste drum set. No cracks, seams are tight, but micropitting on hardware and scuffs and normal scratches on shells. Remember this is over 50 years old! Newer heads and all white mylar gaskets are intact. Here’s the rundown. 22″ x 14″ bass drum. Small spurs and normal tom holder included SN 1077341. 16″ x 16″ floor tom with legs. 13″ x 9″ rack tom SN 1072758. 12″ x 8″ rack tom SN 1076698. 14″ x 5″ snare drum. Correct P85 throw off, P32 butt plate and Ludwig wires. Extra vent holes and look factory, but not sure. Done this many times successfully. We are offering up this incredibly beautiful vintage Ludwig Super Classic kit from the 70’s. This beautiful kit is dressed in classic Sky Blue Pearl wrap, which is in excellent condition with very minimal wear. The only issue seen are the small marks on the bass drum (pictured with pen pointing too it). The wrap does have some shrinkage on the seams of the toms but are flat and tight. The bass drum wrap seams are tight with some light lift on one seam. This kit comes in the Big Beat Configuration. 8″x 12″ and 9″x13″ mounted toms, 16″x 16″ floor tom and 14″x22″ bass drum. All the classic Ludwig trimmings are present. Blue Olive badges, round knob tone control mufflers, Classic lugs, thin curved spurs and inlay on the bass drum hoops. The chrome on the kit is in very good to excellent shape. There are a few lugs on the bottom of the bass drum that have some wear to them, aside from that, much less than expected wear. Expected wear on bass drum hoops. All bearing edges are very nice and untouched from the factory. PLEASE NOTE: The listed price is for the shell pack, double tom mount and floor tom legs only. The kick drum is “Concert Style”, it does not include the front hardware such as head, hoop, or T-rods, but the lugs are there if needed. The Bass and Snare have a more faded pearl look to them, and the Floor Tom and Rack tom have a more clearer and metallic look, it may be difficult to see but look at pictures.
