Snare stand not included. 22″ x 14″ Bass Drum (no mount). 13″ x 9″ Rack Tom (RIMS mount included). 16″ x 16″ Floor Tom. These drums are clean and in good working order. A few small blemishes in the finish from regular use. Bearing edges and interiors are very clean, except for the velcro patches in the bass drum. I would like to sell this gorgeous Ludwig Clubdate drum kit in the popular Downbeat configuration. The drums are wrapped in the beautiful and timeless Mod Orange color. This drumset is in excellent condition. My asking price also includes a matching 14×5.5 Legacy Jazz Fest snare! Very nice vintage Slingerland “Modern Solo” drum kit. Serials date it to around 1976 /77. Sizes are 14×22, 8×12, 9×13 and 16×16. Overall this kit is in very good condition. No mods or extra holes. There is some light scratching on the white wrap on all drums but all very minor. Also some minor pitting on some of the hardware and some small areas of wear on the chrome hoops. The interiors of these drums are absolutely beautiful. Toms have older batter heads that should be replaced. The resonant heads are of various makes but are all in good condition. Here are the individual particulars of each drum. 22 bass – All original. Hoops have been repainted at some point but look very good. Has what is likely the original resonant head and a Slingerland logo pinstripe batter. Original legs and tom mount. These is an area barely visible by the tom mount where a sticker was at one time. 16 tom – All original except the rubber feet for the floor tom. 13 tom – All original. The screw to tighten the tom mount is bent but works fine. 12 tom – All original except the screw to tighten the tom mount is not original and should be replaced as it doesn’t work terribly well. The kit has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready to go! I put fresh heads on and played it for about a week and they sound fantastic. Theses are some of the finest shells Slingerland ever made. I would keep them but I have way to many kits…..

Item: Sweet Slingerland drum set in the Modern Solo Outfit configuration. 14×20 bass drum, 8×12, 9×13 toms, 16×16 floor tom and 5×14 Festival model steel shell snare. Features: Original Natural “Maple Wood” finish which has aged beautifully with less than expected wear for a kit of this vintage. There are no major deep gouges or rash, although there are some small dings and scratches. There is some natural discoloration in the finish which only adds to it’s charm in our opinion. All the traditional Slingerland trimmings are here! Double Set-O-Matic tom holder, telescopic bass drum spurs, original chrome bass drum hoop inlays, stick saver hoops, internal tone control mufflers, original bass drum tension rods, Silver and Black Niles badges and on and on…. This kit was well cared for. There is some tape of the floor tom legs and the washer is missing on the rapid throw off on the snare drum. Bearing edges on the kit are original, untouched and still in nice shape. This kit tunes up like a dream and is SOOOO Much FUN to play. It just oozes with vintage Mojo. Sound: Nice punchy bass drum with beautifully resonate toms. The festival snare is perhaps the most underrated vintage drum out there, excellent crack with great sensitivity.
