For sale is a used 1990’s 4pc REMO Mastertouch Drum Set. Shells are in round and the edges are in great shape. These show signs of use with heavy fading, scratches, scuffs and rash in the wrap finish. The metal hardware has some dents, rust, pitting, flaking chrome and scratches. All the brackets, spurs and adjustments are functioning 100%. Sizes are: Depth X Diameter. 14″ deep X 22″ around. 16″ deep X 16″ around. 9 deep X 13 around. 8″ deep X 12″ around. There are signs of use and wear such as scuffs, pitting and rust spots, but a solid and heavy set that still shines. Tom sizes are 10×10 rack tom, 12×12 rack tom, 14×14 floor tom, and 26 diameter x 30 long bass drum. 10 tom – Wrap is tight with original badges. Hardware has some pitting. Batter head is Remo Clear Emperor. Resonant head is generic single ply gloss black head. 12 tom – Wrap is tight with original badges. 14 tom – Wrap is tight with original badges. This was originally a hanging rack tom, but I took the legs/mounts off another Mastertouch floor tom (which I no longer have) and put them onto this shell to make it a floor tom. 26″ x 30″ bass drum – When I originally found this set, the bass drum had the same gloss black wrap as the toms, but the wrap was scuffed and worn. There were no bass drum spurs. The hoops were worn, and a previous owner put a Pearl double tom mount on the drum. The drum since then has been stripped down to the shell and re-wrapped with a standard gloss black drum wrap. The badges and port were reapplied. The overall wrap is decent, but unfortunately does have some lifting and tiny debris under it in some locations. Over the years, I did manage to find a Remo Mastertouch double tom mount that fit the existing holes, which is shown in the pics. I couldn’t find Remo Mastertouch bass drum spurs, so I drilled for and installed standard bass drum spurs from a Pearl Export bass drum. The hoops are newer generic chrome hoops with black inlays that were cut from the bass drum wrap. Again, the wrap is decent, but lifting in some areas. The bass drum heads are 26 diameter. The batter head is a lightly used Remo Pinstripe and the resonant head is a generic single play gloss black head, with a homemade sticker applied to it to mimic the original logo on the original head.
