Slingerland Gene Krupa Sound King Chrome over Brass snare drum, 14 x 5 eight lugs. In great shape with original hardware, no scratches, dings or pitting. Has a new Remo Ambassador batter head and an original Slingerland snare side head that’s in very nice and usable shape. Has the original internal muffler and stick saver rims plus a Canapus 14 x 20 snare wire. It sounds great too, full and cutting but with the mellowness of brass. This drum would work well in a variety of genres like Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues or any genre that calls for the distinctive sound of vintage brass. Made in Niles Illinois so it’s a product of true American craftsmanship.

1960s Slingerland Gene Krupa model chrome over brass snare drum. 14″x5″ 8 lug drum with Zoomatic Strainer. The chrome work is exceptional Condition for a drum of this age. Super clean along with stick chopper hoops. One panel on shell has a tiny dent.. Only seen if drum is held to light. Snare sounds great and is a very versatile drum.

Beautiful vintage 6.5 snare. Will be 80 this year, not playing like I used to. Excellent condition, all original parts except top rim, heads and snare wires. Replaced top rim with free/promotional British “Worldmax”. Original rim had pits, will send with drum if wanted. 3 small dents, one above ID tag and 2 next to and below the throw out. Also a small scratch and a scrape on panel left of ID tag. Look at pictures – hard to spot.

The TAMA King Beat chrome steel snare is a high quality drum, known for its powerful, crisp, and bright tone. Released during the heyday of hard rock, it features a seamless shell, die-cast hoops for tuning stability and a smooth, reliable snare strainer. This drum is in excellent condition – strainer and internal muffler operate smoothly and don’t rattle. There’s a trace pitting, primarily on the strainer, not the shell, with one superficial scratch on the shell, as shown. This is a super sensitive snare with a serious “crack” when desired. The batter head is an Evans Level 360 blue hydraulic.

Tama Imperialstar King Beat snare drum from 1980’s. With Parallel Strainer snare system. In very clean conditions with pitting and scratches on the shell and die cast hoops. Please note that there is one of the lugs hardware that is just attached from the top and bottom lugs, it is not attached to the shell, this is not affecting the functionality of the snare but I just want to be honest and clear with you.. The pitting is all over the snare, please be aware, and hard to spot from a medium distance, you will need to be very close to the snare to be able to see the pitting. It is a very clean snare example from a parallel snare system King Beat. It sound very nice, the top head is a Remo power stroke P77 coated. Almost new barely played. Slingerland No 153 Super Gene Krupa Radio King 5.5X14 1958 – Sparkling Blue Pearl Steam bent single ply solid Maple shell with Maple reinforcement rings. Chrome Over Brass hoops and hardware. Fade to wrap with no seam lifting. Slight rash possibly glue? Everything appears era correct except the aftermarket heads and repro lever on the throw. Muffler and throw working as intended.
