I bought this not long before they changed the name to Classic Oak. 10-inch and 12-inch toms with Atlas mounts. 14-inch and 16-inch floor tom with legs and a 22-inch by 16-inch virgin bass drum. Memory locks are included for the legs and atlas mounts. No pedal rash on the bass drum, no scratches, no nicks, no stripped threads. Everything is in excellent condition. I hate to sell them, but I will be moving in the future and I can’t take all of my gear with me. We have a smoke-free home.

The drum is in nice shape and wrapped in its original white marine pearl wrap. The wrap is nice with a good tight seem. The shell measures 5.5×14 and is free from any extra holes. The hardware is all chrome and is really nice. The strainer/throw is complete and works like it should. The top rim is chrome over brass, while the bottom rim is chrome over steel. This is a beautiful drum to add to any collection. I’ll leave it up to new owner to add their choice of snare wires. Please check out the photos and ask any questions. Hello again vintage Ludwig drum fans. Here we have a beautiful original Ludwig Super Classic outfit keystone badge from the mid 1960s — 1965 or 1966. One of the most desirable and fastest appreciating vintage American-made outfits you will find in one of the most desirable original colors. Finished in highly desirable and beautiful sky blue pearl, original wrap finish no rewraps on this drum, very nice condition. The mid 1960s is regarded as the true sweet spot for quality Ludwig drum production – among the best years for Ludwig drum production in terms of quality and consistency. This kit is in very clean condition. Beautiful sku blue parl no fading, consistent color between drums. No cracks or spideing in the wrap. Rich high gloss color. Original white shell interiors with original reinforcement rings. Interiors bearing edges and rings are in excellent condition. All shells are in round. Original rubber feet on all legs. Chrome hardware is original and in excellent condition. All keystone badges and grommets in excellent condition. These drums deliver that warm woody resonant tone you expect from a set of quality vintage American-made drums, indeed they sing! Bass drum 22 round x 14 inches. Keystone badge serial numbers 123266. Original Ludwig tom rail mount consulate and mounting post, all original tension rods and claws, original legs and leg mounts and original lugs. Both hoops are in excellent condition, no cracks or delamination. Original matching inlay on both hoops no missing sections. Th original owner added two very small holes at the top of the drum where he repositioned the rail mount. I have relocated this mount to the correct position using the original holes and filled the two remaining holes with chromed hardware — which blends nicely with the sky blue pearl finish. Light lift at the drum wrap seam, leave as or reglue. The drum also includes its original drum mounted cymbal tilter and mounting post, items that are often missing or not original. Remo coated batter and resonant heads both in great shape. Floor tom 16 x 16 inches on legs. Keystone badge serial numbers 458325. Original hoops, original lugs, original legs and leg mounts. The drum also comes with its original internal white padded muffler and external baseball bat muffler control arm. Remo ambassador coated batter and resonate heads in excellent condition. Light lifting at the drum wrap seam leave as is or glue. Mounted tom 13 round by 9 inches. Keystone badge serial numbers 121409. This is a 1964-66 Ludwig Black Diamond Pearl Drum Set. The bass drum dates to’64, and measures 22″ diameter, 14″ tall. The floor tom dates to’66, and measures 14″ x 14″. The rack tom dates to’64, and measures 13″ diameter, 9″ tall. Black Diamond Pearl is a super cool, and rare wrap. Original WMP finish in amazing condition — not yellowed or faded as is the case with many of these older WMP kits. Beautiful finish, no added holes in the shells. Tight seams no lifting. No cracking or checking in the wrap finish. Rich and even color on all drums. No differentiation in color between drums. All drums have their original factory white interiors.
